Cleopatra To Coretta

In the Fall of 2015, a small team and I developed an international exchange program supporting the dialogue of female global journalists to build relationships and promote hero narratives of women making an impact in their community. Cleopatra to Coretta aims to bridge the gap between the East and the West, to identify and mentor emerging women leaders in the field of journalism and media, and to create new networks of engagement for globally-minded female professionals.

This project required developing and managing a project over 4 time zones and three countries, creating and managing multiple budgets, coordinating an international team and participants from the United States and Egypt. The project required exceptional time-management and remote work in addition to building a website, customized graphics, a social media strategy. Cleopatra to Coretta also required grant writing, event organization for fundraising, and utilizing a variety of technologies across different platforms for success.
